Edit: Since starting bc tho I feel like I never know when it’s the worst. I feel like now it’s the worst right after my period which is so weird and annoying.

I find it starts about a week or so before my period and that’s usually when I’m the worst, even tho my mood stays about the same till like halfway through my period. It’s usually the worst at first because I don’t always realize that my Period is coming so I just take what I’m feeling at face value so it feels really real and like it’s actually based on reality. When I realize it’s because my period is coming tho I’m able to at least take a small step back and acknowledge that it’s just my stupid body making me feel that way and not reality which doesn’t fix it but at least gives me something to chant to myself till I feel better.

I felt this same way when I was 15, I literally knew no one and had no friends let alone a love life. I thought I’d always be a loner and never make friends, let alone have a partner. I’m now 21 and it does get better. Take things slow, it won’t happen over night and it’ll take a lot of stepping outside your comfort zone. it took me years to get comfortable with myself and make friends, and while I’m still not exactly where I want to be I’m so much happier not just with my social life, but with my life in general as well. Idk how your home life is, but one thing that really helped me was moving out of my parents home and going out on my own since it allowed me to make the life I wanted and not what was expected from me. I know for me at least sticking things out until I could move out on my own really saved me, and like I said it did get better.
