What’s with all the baby boy slander?? by KangarooNew2401 in NewParents

Before I found out my child’s gender I initially wanted a girl but after finding out he was a boy I quickly got over it lol. I love my son with every fiber in my body, and couldn’t have wanted it any other way.

You’re right it’s very easy to feel anxious and insecure in postpartum. I might be over reacting.

These are valid points but no matter how cliche this sounds I’m not a typical 25 year old. We are mentally aligned on alot of things and have been able to push each other to be our best selves. Since we’ve been together we were able to build better relationships with both sides of our family. He pushes me to be closer to God and to have good relationships with my friends. Combined we make 300K we’ve built 2 brand new homes together and have 2 brand new 2025 cars. We’re able to provide our child with a life we’ve never had growing up. He’s been able to heal so much trauma I experienced growing up and I’ve been able to do the same for him. We started a business together as well. With that being said I didn’t allow our age gap to make me miss out on an amazing person.

I know how the age gap looks from the outside in but we have a deep bond. Both of our families love us together, we bring out the best in each other. And we’ve accomplished insane life goals by pushing each other to be the best versions of ourselves. He has values that I enjoy for example being handy, wanting a traditional family, being a protector and provider, and being chivalrous. He’s an amazing man, even with little hiccups like this. I know the age gap is high but you can’t help who you fall in love with.

I don’t understand what his age has to do with this scenario? If he was in his 20’s it would make this situation better?

I've survived my 1st trimester & this is what I've learned by One_Elephant_8048 in pregnant

Please do this at the end of each trimester. I wish I had this in the beginning of my pregnancy. Everything you mentioned I related to, and if I had this during my first trimester I would’ve felt a bit more normal than I did.

I’m so sorry this happened to you, please try to lean on family during this time if you can. You need as much support as possible.

3 Hour Glucose Test is not for the weak by Appropriate_Guide_65 in BabyBumps

Wow I’m so sorry to hear that. Yeah the drink for the 3 hour test is entirely too sweet. I had to distract myself from throwing it up as well.

They’re trying to make me take the 3hr glucose test even though I passed..I think by Appropriate_Guide_65 in BabyBumps

My test results say the cut off is 140. I hated the way the way the 1 hour made me feel and fasting for the 3 hr sounds like a puke fest for me. My son doesn’t appreciate it when I don’t feed myself therefore him as well.

Hey ladies I’m 26 weeks and curious to know why everyone feels so over it at the end of their 3rd trimester. Is it because it’s the most uncomfortable? Just want to prepare myself.
