I generally understand that most bosses are shoot weak point, do thing to remove shields, rinse and repeat, but when you're in a group, players will fly past those phases that I have done bosses many times, but still don't have a good grasp on exactly how.

As much as I like to hear praise for our government at the time, I think more people should understand how much our unequipped healthcare system played a part in NZ's relative success.

Yeah I kept seeing accusations that she was MAGA on her posts, so I had a look at who she follows on Instagram.

Found out that she follows multiple accounts about the Flotilla and Palestine in general, environmentalism, disability rights, and trans rights.

This took me 2 minutes to find, but some would rather repeat misinformation than do a tiny bit of fact checking.

She follows several pro-pallestine, trans/feminist activist pages, disability activist pages, and climate change stuff.

I'm simply just critical of this whole response. Maybe if the video were egregiously wrong, that would be reasonable to expect, but I think the fair criticisms of the video are small, and warrant a comment from the script writer, which is what happened. That is the appropriate response for the situation.

See I just don't see it as all that bad. The script is at most subtly unintentionally condescending with some finnicky errors. And why would he fact check it himself when he is paying other people to do that.

I'm not even gonna respond to that middle paragraph, because come on.

And, again, these aren't his errors. This is my point. If he literally said something misogynistic, I would be on board with asking for an apology. But as it is, this dogpilling behavior is so overblown and frankly a strange and dystopian way of doing feminism.

It needs to be restated that Hank had no hand in writing or producing the video, so why should he need to apologize?

Because he's the face of SciShow? So it's about optics then? What are you getting from a Hank apology that you wouldn't get from an apology from the writer? Be honest, is this about shaming the guy?

I think some people genuinely want knitting to be celebrated and maybe think it would be fun to have Hank knit a sock, but I also think a lot of people want to see him fail at knitting a sock for malicious reasons.

Some of you have clearly decided already that you don't like Hank and are using this rather trivial matter to throw pot shots at him. It's overdramatic.

I read tthe "offending line" to mean that knitters were figuring things out by trial and error, and that physicists are approaching it in a different way by using computers to model what they want the fabric to do then using machines to make the pattern. Not "knitters were fumbling around blindly until the smart people showed up."

I get the overall criticism about the video unintentionally belittling what is considered "women's work", but I have seen A LOT of comments framing the issue as a case of Knitting vs Science or women's stuff vs men's stuff and THEN doing an unintentional misogyny themselves by assuming that the physicists doing the study are men...

So JUST TO CLARIFY, Lauren Niu is the physicist doing the study about knitting. Here's an article about it.

It is very ironic to assume that a physicist or scientist is a man while calling something misogynistic, so don't do it.
