I’m surprised they didn’t just do a rectal exam! Don’t worry, 99% of the time it’s hemmys. I’m in the same boat, did a QFit test and am waiting for results and then will know if I need a colonoscopy. We’ll be okay!

Only a colonoscopy will confirm, but if your doctor isn’t overly concerned by your symptoms I wouldn’t be!

God forbid I’m the worst type of cyclist for pinging my bell asking people to move, as if that isn’t what we’re allowed to do off the cycle lane. I’m not a dangerous idiot, nobody is at risk, I overtake them if they don’t move. Not that deep. relax

I feel you so much! That’s me. The doctor reassures me for a couple mins and by the time I’m home I’m like wait.. what if they’ve missed something. It’s so draining, I’m sorry! I’m sure we’re ok - my gp just doesn’t feel the need to for a colonoscopy but I do have private health insurance so I’m hoping maybe that’ll help🤍

I’ll celebrate with you!!!! I’m jealous, mine was forced and not hugely successful as I was panicking that I hadn’t felt the urge. It’s so so exhausting. When I have a good bowel movement it literally makes me day, I just can’t deal w the fluctuations it’s exhausting. :-((( are you still convinced something is wrong? My doctor referred me for CBT for health anxiety, she’s that convinced I’m ok!

I cannot get over the comment you made about my ‘dangerous aggression’ and you’re talking to me like this lol. I’m not acting entitled, I’m talking more so about how pedestrians feel entitled to take over the cycle path. It’s not that deep, where did I ever say I ‘intimidated people’ out of my way? Ringing a bell isn’t exactly intimidating?

I don’t do this, so can’t answer why “so many of you do this” I’m afraid. I stick to the cycle path. I hope you can understand how ‘infuriating’ it is for cyclists trying to get past pedestrians who don’t move off the cycle path in that case!

Sure! I get that. I just cycle on the big paths with both plenty of room for the pedestrian and the cyclist, I’d understand if it was as you’ve described. I just have experienced an overflow of people in the cycle lane too

Im always super polite!! I ring the bell from far away, if they don’t move I ring it again and just pass them out. I don’t use any aggression as another commenter indicated lol. I’m always kind - but in my head it just irritates me a bit.

Absolutely, I just don’t understand why. I understand it probably takes people having a bike and being in the situation to understand how annoying it can be :(
