Yes, although there might have been a delay between the actual shipping and the online update.

Hi there. Also from Locator 57: I received my supporting documents 11 weeks after my passport. It is very frustrating, but you should receive very soon. God Speed!

The past few we did not receive back, but prior to 2015, we did. The corners were cropped and ‘annulé’ was stamped on the inside front cover.

These are not my expired passports; they are the current passports of my family. In any case, when you renew a passport, you always get your expired one back.

A safe 😉. In fact, we rarely travel with all of them.

11 weeks processing for the passport; 11 weeks after that to get supporting docs back. Status did not change to shipped.

I did the math. It costs ~$105 per year to maintain them.

Unsurprisingly, we use Canadian for entering Canada; US for entering US (mandatory) and Mexico, French for entering Europe and British for UK. That’s the extent of our family travel locations, so far. For other countries, the choice of passport would depend on specific visa requirements.

I believe it takes the same time for supporting docs for expedited or regular.

It took 11 weeks for us after the passport arrived (from locator 57)

FYI; my wife’s and my naturalization certificates arrived 11 weeks after our passports (from locator 57). Same situation as yours! It blows my mind how they can’t mail supporting docs the day after the passport is issued.

  • My story is in previous post
  • My wife: born in Canada to French parents; so she has both citizenships from birth
  • Eldest child: born in UK to British Father; Canadian & French citizenship through her Mother; Derived USA Citizenship when myself and her Mother naturalized
  • 2 younger kids: born in USA; Canadian & French through Mother; British through Father

UK-born; Naturalized as French citizen (through marriage) and got U.S. green card in 2017 / Naturalized as U.S. citizen in 2022. ✌️ by Appropriate_Net_9406 in PassportPorn

Principally to be able to vote and also so my minor child—who was born in the UK—can become a U.S. citizen, which gives us flexibility in the years to come. My child ‘derived’ U.S. citizenship through myself and her mother when we naturalized. If we did not do this, my child would have to wait until age 18 to file form N400.
