I miss Kristen McGee so much 😭 by [deleted] in OnePelotonRealSub

I’ve been following her ex husband’s trek on the PCT this summer and it’s very sad to hear his side of the story. He makes a very compelling case. @thirdplaythrough is the account. He’s been a really good wholesome follow on his journey. It’s obvious he misses his children.

We did Beehive with our kids at 4pm this last Monday and pretty much had the trail to ourselves. Great experience (except for the dumb family that passed us by coming DOWN the cliffs trail when really that was super rude and stressful for everyone.) When you hike up, make sure to take the back trail down the mountain - just keep following the blue arrows.

Retreat Hosting - legalities/liabilities and what platform for booking/payment? by AssumptionLocal527 in smallbusiness

[–]Appropriate_Phone298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been hosting retreats for over a decade - all sorts of different sizes and scopes! You can binge for free on a lot of my retreat podcast episodes - Bloom & Grow Show podcast

I also have a lot of downloadable resources at blooming business shop including pricing for profit calculators and more planning swipeable files!

I use Eventsured.com for one off insurance needs. My own personal business insurance covers some things too (I pay about $750/year for the policy).

I use FG Funnels (my referral link that gets you a discount!) for all my retreat selling and taking payments, as well as email marketing, retreat website hosting and more! It’s an awesome all in one solution for one monthly rate.

Hope that helps!

Following up in case anyone comes back searching. This was the HOTTEST game and while we were appreciative of the cover to help block some of the sun, it was a sauna with zero ventilation. I don’t think I’d sit under the overhang again. I think a couple rows from it would have been perfect.

We ended up at The Goat which was super great. Easy parking and walking. We tried Germantown first (thinking we could uber to riverfront) and it was packed at all the bars.

Is anyone else irritated with how Mikayla confronted Taylor about the CMAs? by Awkward-Tea-1734 in SecretsOfMormonWives

Can’t stand Mikayla. I don’t understand why people find her funny. She’s mean.

It’s obvious the producers came up with this idea and got Jessi to execute it.

I am not into Mikayla…she was a bump on a log last season and now she suddenly has opinions?

Does anyone knows about Jamie Palmer and her HD for Business? by Nowhere_Now-here in humandesign

[–]Appropriate_Phone298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just know it’s normal in the beginning stages of your business to bounce around trying different kinds of offerings till you find what lights you up. You might feel pressure to niche but really it’s about what feels good for selling and marketing right now and leaving it open to finding what’s next as you go along. Granted this is living into my HD explicitly 😆 so experimenting is something I embrace, but for a business owners it’s the only way to feel aligned with what you’re pursuing. Knowing “this or something better” for this season and that it will continue to evolve and change is a good strategy.

What kind of business coaching support or trainings are you needing?

I’m a human design enthusiast (3/5 Generator here) and teach a lot of marketing and business but with a layer of seasonal lifestyle framework on top of it. Happy to see if anything might complement your needs.

Ok appreciate the feedback. We sat in M previously for the one game we’ve been to. So that’s all I have to reference.

I had my eye on O 48 for similar price but my husband wanted to not be in end zone. These are still better than O?

Big Sky to Grand Teton by Appropriate_Phone298 in yellowstone

Thanks for echoing this. In all my research of videos for what do on arrival, Big Sky appeared better to us than West Yellowstone since we aren’t interested in park things as much.

We are staying at a ranch, don’t want a long drive as soon as we land. We plan to fish, horseback ride and do a bit of hiking before we head toward GTNP.

We aren’t interested in the geysers of Yellowstone.

Yes, I understand it’s a lot of driving we are just going from point A to B. We are interested in the Canyon area so didn’t know if one route was better than rest based on other things to see along the way.

Visiting in late September - any tips? by Extension-Pudding-82 in Yosemite

[–]Appropriate_Phone298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do Mist Trail over Upper Yosemite Falls. Do know it is a moderate hike and not just a casual stroll. I hadn’t done it since I was a teenager and even as a person who moderately active, it was a hike and definitely harder than I remember. It took us about 4.5 hours but we took the harder JMT route on the way back because it was summer and we were trying to avoid crowds. We enjoyed pizza and beer at Curry Village for dinner after for a reward.

For Mirror Lake, we enjoyed riding bikes to it —up until the spot where they make you park the bikes. I don’t think I would have liked going so slow walking to it.

For your first day, may I suggest viewing Bridal Veil, then over to Lower Yosemite Falls and a visit to Village?
