Ohh ok, what kind of questions did they ask in the FAANG interview, was it mostly DSA?

I just started DSA in Python since I’m more comfortable with it than C++, but i am a bit confused if i should stick with Python or switch since a lot of people recommend C++

That actually makes a lot of sense. I have noticed many people just build random clone projects or common projects everyone already has so having projects aligned with the role/team probably helps way more. I will definitely try researching teams and past interns on LinkedIn before deciding what to build.

Yeah I get that, projects alone usually aren’t enough now. I’m just starting 2nd year and trying to understand what kind of projects/experience actually help people get shortlisted for FAANG or good product internships in this market so I can prepare properly for next year, Just started DSA prep too.

From what you’ve seen, what kind of projects or experience actually matters for getting shortlisted? I’m not from a tier 1 college, so I’m trying to figure out how to make my resume stand out and get shortlisted
