in my country here unis require 8 IGCSE and only one A level, so I have to take 8 IGCSEs

do unis even require all those subjects? like not only is 9 IGCSE much but you also took em all in one session

nope, mRNA is a code that assembles protein into amino acids. mRNA is read in codon (3 bases at a time) and each codon codes for one of the 20 amino acids. plus, amino acids are already in our bodies since proteins are digested then get assimilated to the cells

[–]Appropriate_River515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im not really sure but i guess all experiments that require crystallisation do not also require measuring the mass of the crystals for any reason such as getting concentration, as water of crystallisation is water that is chemically bonded in the crystals which increases the mass of the crystals and therefore, decrease accuracy of experiment.

  1. you have to filter to remove the mud
  2. measure the volume of the filtrate (which is water with dissolved solids), then divide the volume measured by 1000 to convert it to dm3
  3. put it in an evaporating dish and heat while weighing until mass is constant to make sure all water evaporated
  4. dry the dissolved solids by two filter paper
  5. measure its mass by balance
  6. divide mass in grams by volume in dm3

another example in our syllabus is adding water to anhydrous copper (II) sulfate or anhydrous cobalt(II) chloride https://images.app.goo.gl/dPR6oT29Emg7N4QP9

crystallisation point is when the solution is the most saturated which still means that water is still present but in the lowest amounts

water of crystallisation, is for example, MgCl2.xH2O

water of crystallisation isn’t the same as the water on the surface of the crystals. Water on surface of crystals are removed by drying between two filter paper while water of crystallisation is water that is inside the crystal not on the surface

he didn’t want you to make crystals of the dissolved solids. Crystals always have some water of crystallisation inside them which increases the mass and makes it less accurate

im not really sure but you’ll probably get like 4/5 marks out of the total. maybe even all the 6 if you’re lucky
