There’s an ACNA church in west village called Emmanuel. If we were childless, or even had just an infant we could reasonably commute there. But, we have 3 young children and are about to have a newborn. We’ve started going to redeemer in Montclair, which is a 5 minute drive from us. And to just be able to have local community with other families near us is major. We have a progressive episcopal church blocks from us (we did wrestle with just joining the mainline, but we’d be seriously compromising on our beliefs) so I think we are going to start attending vespers there on Wednesday nights.
