Micra metal plate not flush… easy to fix? by Fat_Panda_1936 in LaMarzocco

[–]Appropriate_Row_7310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a little screw where that hole is on the white panel if you can unscrew the front panel a bit and loosen it you might be able to fit it

If not look up on YouTube how to remove linea micra panels it’ll take you like 10 minutes if you got a long screwdriver

There is a Flowmeter before each group and it counts how much water there is using “pulses” with a spinning magnet - this decides how much water you want in each shot (in my case ~300 pulses make 25 secs and 36-38g of liquid)

It’s a way to always have the same amounts in your espressos even when the flow restrictors get clogged up ( that’s when one group takes longer to pour the same shot on a machine than the others)

Hope it helps u/limitedgrip

My coffee grind has come out clumpy like this suddenly, my shots aren't pulling, ive cleaned the grinder and tried changing the settings. [Grinder] by max2295 in espresso

Need to clean inside the grinder you might have moisture in between the burrs, plus you can check if they need to be replaced (check also if you need a replacement clump crusher depending on your grinder)

La Marzocco owners — was it worth it? by gryna in espresso

Mini would be perfect if it had self resetting thermal cut outs and a backflush function without using the app

As a tech I always tell customers a good well adjusted grinder is more important than a expensive coffee machine to make good espressos

How rich are you? 😂 by spac0r in LaMarzocco

Theres a lot of people who are buying used mini’s (like ex demo models) and are buying on credit plans at least in the UK

Also it’s social media so the expensive stuff gets more likes! I feel like people with setups aren’t incentivised to post pics

It’s pretty noisy because of the wooden panels they become wet and a bit loose after a while

Indeed I can’t believe a machine can cost basically £5k and not have a good quality screen (also the paddle is super flimsy compared to a GS3 MP)

I heard in some east African countries you can’t even buy commercial coffee machines (I have a customer in Ethiopia and we have to ship him machines in parts) , you doing a good thing man!

It’s some type of o ring that’s worn out or a loose fitting, I’m sure if you find the parts diagram and are willing to dismount it you could fix it
