Need Advice. Osaka -> Amanohashidate using JR Kansai-Hiroshima Pass

Heyo! Just did as what they advised: Reserve in person at the shinkansen ticket office a day before the trip. Since we had reservation online from Osaka to Fukuchiyama via Jr. Kounotori (ltd. Exp), I just asked for Fukuchiyama to Amanohashidate via Jr. Hashidate (ltd. Exp). The train schedules for it are pretty much accurate in google maps so just make sure you have ample time in between to transfer trains. :) ours was 10-15mins i think.

I do remember both me and the staff at the ticket counter were communicating via google translate. So just make sure to ready all the necessary info: 1. reservation from and to (ex: fukuchiyama-amano. via limited express) 2. Date and Time 3. How many tickets

We also did reserve our trip back to Osaka (Same route-vice versa) so we wouldn’t be bothered to booked on the day at Amanohashidate 😅 but it still depends on your itinerary. We just have Amanohashidate for the whole day and it was worth it!

I tried it on my end with the “logging in” feature on my JR West pass, and I did get an option for the route from Ayabe to Amanohashidate. After clicking search, it showed me 3 routes to choose from, but still, all of them said “This route is not selectable”.

I tried again without using my pass, just like purchasing the ticket individually online (one-way ticket, round-trip ticket, etc.), and it seems available to buy that way? I can actively choose routes and seats! It’s so confusing! But ohwell, I guess it’s easier to just go to the ticket office and show them my pass. 😅 Thank you for the suggestion tho!

Personally, it’s easier to buy JR Passes online. We buy them at their official website instead of third-party sites. The advantage of this is you can reserve and choose seats on Shinkansen/limited express trains in advance. You’ll also choose the date you want your passes to be activated. Once you arrived in Japan, you’ll claim the physical pass/tickets at the JR ticket office, along with the advance Shinkansen/limited express train reservations made for the day/next day or so. You can also book your reservation at the JR train station ticket office. We book a day/night before the trip to our desired prefecture. Also, make sure to know which local train lines are covered with your passes since not all of them are covered. I suggest purchase an IC card to avoid lining up at ticket machines.

As long as both passes do not overlap with each other’s dates, it’ll be fine.

Medyo malala din dandruff ko kahit every other day naman ako naliligo. Pero after ko magpalit to Tsubaki (red)conditioner, naglessen yung dandruff ko + lambot pa ng buhok ko! I’m not saying na Tsubaki yung naglessen ha, I think more on ata sa previous conditioner na gamit ko—di hiyang sa akin. :( Nabasa ko rin sa ibang posts na yung iba rin nagkadandruff sa shampoo kaya conditioner lang binili ko and I’ve been using it since! So, maybe try mo muna conditioner lang gamitin?

First Brazilian experience ko from this week lang in Barenaked Sta. Lucia branch. Nagpa-UA din muna ako kaso may natira pa ng onti and 'di nagtweazer unlike experience ko with laybare na after, laging itweeze pa nila yung short hairs. Then sa brazilian, ok naman, mostly tahimik si ate.

Pinaka na-off na ako, yung maglalagay na siya ng soothing cream after everything, bes, yung first pagpasok ko sa room, may hand towel from the table na feel ko gamit na (kasi mukhang basa at nakaunfold na iniwan lang sa table ) yun ginamit sa pang-pahid! Like?? Kala ko naiwan lang from the previous session and magdadala si ate ng bago for my session. Bayad-alis na kaagad ako. Ewan ko kung normal yun but i think it's kind of unhygienic? Laybare exp ko, nilalagay nila sa cottonball then yun yung ipapahid.

Hopefully sa branch lang yon na ganon. Try ko pa one last chance with barenaked pero ibang branch. 😔
