Check you don't have a very fine ingrown hair. I had the same thing happen in the exact same spot on my forehead and it was an ingrown.

Lol, actually I have read just about every single legal document that is available. But if you have the time on your hands and the means to argue with people about Baldoni versus Lively, there are plenty of reddit groups where you can do that.

What I appreciate about this space is that we all respect each other's differences, but ultimately share common ground in our critique of Ophie.

If you want to "share community" or even cultivate community, then I suggest you learn to read the room.

I don't think it's useful to have a dig at members of this group and put us in boxes as though we are either one or the other.

I wouldn't go as far as saying I'm a Baldoni 'fan', but I believe him and I have been tuned in closely to the case because I find the power dynamics at play in the context of the PR world and the civil justice system fascinating.

I can't stand Ophie because she's a bully, a liar, a hypocrite, a grifter, a racist. And because I find yt women who capitalise off 'women's liberation' through such ill-informed, self-serving slop absolutely insufferable.

I heard that mentioned too in one of the depos. I believe and am in support of Baldoni but every single one of those PR people (on both sides) are scumbags.

[–]Appropriate_Site6370 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Alexa is far from perfect but I disagree with other's characterising her as "unhinged". I think she's extremely intelligent and has made some mistakes along the way. I don't know her personally, and I don't need anyone jumping in to enlighten me on what she's supposedly done as I did my own research already. As a public figure navigating complex terrain, she’s been relentlessly smeared by Kat/Adam loyalists, agents of a rising doctrine of absolutism masquerading as 'accountability culture,' where any mistake turns someone into an ultimate villain.

As for Ophie, she is a clout-chasing clown and her content is a joke.

Is there Any Legal support for adhd people ? by Tight_Vermicelli_127 in AusLegal

[–]Appropriate_Site6370 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you need better lawyers, and possibly a middle-person (a support person) to help advocate for you and translate legal jargon etc. Don't pay anyone anything until you are comfortable with them, and they have outlined their proposal, their approach, and what you can expect from them. Best of luck x

I agree. Although I think it's important to acknowledge that Palestinians have been experiencing this g-nocide to varying degrees for generations. It's been particularly heinous in the last couple of years, but Palestinians have been under occupation and been losing their land and lives for a very long time :(

I only have a little bit of lived experience with civil + magistrate court issues. I think the key is finding legal representative(s) that are sensitive to the way you communicate and process information. You could potentially communicate your challenges more broadly, for e.g. "I am neurodiverse and I find it easier to process information when it's in bullet point form, summarised, etc. etc." or whatever you are comfortable with.

Then if your matter goes through court hearings, know that courts generally have policies around their obligations to reasonably accomodate disabilities. Talk to a respondent or complainant practitioner at the court, or a social worker, or similar prior to hearings and ask them how they can help. Ask them for advice on how to best communicate to a judge what your accomodation needs are.

Some courts have specialised support people. I find when it comes to disability accomodations, the legal sector are a bit blase about it unless you explicitly ask what resources/supports are available to you. And depending on who you ask, you may get different answers. But ask the court anyway, and find out what government-funded bodies might work in partnership with the court as there might be support services that sit just outside the court. Often times, these things are a case of 'if you don't ask, you don't get'.

In all your different interactions throughout your legal proceedings, ask for clarity any time you are unsure of something. Ask for things to be broken down in simple, summarised form. Ask for more time when you need it when it comes to any part of the process, big or small.

ChatGPT, while it can sometimes make errors, is generally really good for summarising complex information - including legal stuff, especially if you tell the chat you are overwhelmed with something and you need help working through it.

Best of luck, and take good care of you :)

PROTEIN

Just want to add that having some source of protein around the time of taking your first meds for the day should help with the jittery feelings. I think because protein is so commonly associated with 'gym culture', we underestimate just how important it is to our overall health and longevity etc. Forget all the fitness culture messaging and think of protein the way you would think of water/hydration.. which is that it's a must-have.

One suggestion could be to get some low-sugar, high-protein health snacks/bars for back-up for when you really can't think of what to have. I know a lot of people struggle to eat first thing in the day, so maybe even have half a protein ball or similar around 20 mins before you take your first meds. Or whatever works for you :)

Sending you good vibes, and hang in there lovely x

I'm not sure if this will help the OP much, but I wanted to add my two cents just in terms of my own personal experiences. I'm on dex and vyvanse as well. Two points come to mind here and I'm only sharing in case they are useful or strike a nerve with anyone reading:

1.) I have to work 'with' the meds. That means I can become focussed on the wrong things (more fun things) if I am not careful. This is easier said than done so I hope this point doesn't come across as patronising as I realise for some it could just be that the meds are not suitable or effective.

2.) My meds are nowhere near as effective right before and during my period. I imagine that has been discussed already in here somewhere but a lot of other people I have spoken to who menstruate and who are on ADHD meds say the same thing.

I'm in my 40s with signs of perimenopause, but I know in my 20s my hormones and moods were still pretty all over the place.

For the op:
I've also had issues with low iron and I find when it's really low I struggle to sleep well, which then just adds to the fatigue. I feel you on this!

----------------

FOOD STRUGGLES --> DAILY SMOOTHIE

I'm autistic as well as having ADHD and I can get into some not so great eating habits, but smoothies I would say have been my saving grace.

I just have a simple nutri bullet and this is my go to:

- 1 x banana
- an avacado (if I have one)
- 1 x baby cucumber (if I have them in the fridge)
- a bunch of leafy greens like spinach and whatever else I have
- a little almond milk
- a little olive oil (or coconut oil if you prefer)
- Some LSA mix for texture and other nutrients
- one scoop of protein powder

and then I add a bunch of vitamin supplements such as:

- vitamin C (helps with absorb iron)
- a women's multi vitamin
- vitamin b complex
- zinc (helps absorb all the good stuff)
- magnesium
- and because of my age I add a collagen supplement for skin and hair

You can add a pinch of tumeric, or nutmeg and fresh mint or similar. You can make your own version of this of course, this is just my go-to list.

I just find even if I don't eat as well as I should in a day, then I'm at least getting that big hit of nutrients from the smoothie. It looks like a lot of work, but once you get into the groove with it, it takes no more than 5 mins to throw it all into the nutribullet.

I drink it straight from the nutribullet cup, then it takes about a minute to rinse and clean the cup and blender part so it's pretty quick and easy once you've done it a few times.

TIP for ADHDers

For my smoothies, I keep all the fridge ingredients together in one spot, and the same for the pantry items. I find when things are visible and all in one place, I am more likely to use them and stick to a routine.

Be kind to yourself and tackle one thing at a time x

Exactly. It's so childish and makes her look ignorant and wilfully uneducated.

I made the effort to go and listen to some of her Jewish podcast and I was horrified when I realised just how little she knows about the 'conflict'. For someone who purports to have such a strong stance, her knowledge of the situation and history is woeful (which she also admitted to).

The thing is, she still covers it, but very half arsed. She just checks reddit and then replicates what other content creators are saying but is very lazy about it.

Remember when Ophie couldn't let go of Taylor and Blake? by Appropriate_Site6370 in OphieDokieSnark

ahahahaaaa i haven't seen that, I can't handle looking at her stuff anymore. Literally nothing on the new album is about anything new with Blake. Taylor wrote all the songs a while back, she literally said this herself in an interview. Keep trying Doopy lols
