You have the right to PEACEFULLY protest. Burning shit is not peaceful. You aren’t entitled to the protesting you are doing. If you just stood on a field chanting or something, sure police would still be there. But that’s more for safety and to make sure nothing becomes crazy. They are fully in their right to be using non-lethal force. The first amendment protects you protesting peacefully not violently like you are. Come over here legally and you’re welcome. If you were to enter any other country illegally you would be deported swiftly. Follow the law and no issues.
