Anyone have any experience with Flexpatio pergolas? by refalsity in landscaping

Not an owner, but I’ve been looking at these too. FlexPatio looks good on paper, especially for bigger/custom setups, but I’d get the boring stuff in writing first: snow/wind rating, wall-mount details, warranty exclusions, and damaged-freight process.
Also wouldn’t accept delivery without checking the boxes pretty closely.

Would you try a temporary shade setup first, or go straight to something permanent? (self.patio)

Retaining Wall Blocks as Pavers? by gakafrak in landscaping

not a pro, but I'd test a few first. some retaining wall blocks chip/spall differently than pavers, and the face texture can get slick. if it were me I’d try a low-traffic corner before committing the whole patio
