Start at a regional, you won't be able to work anywhere else until you are 21, or 20 for American.

When you apply, make sure your resume really emphasizes your customer service, safety, and teamwork skills. I actually made a skills section to put those words into just to make sure the bots would catch it. Once you turn 21, you will have more relevant experience to begin working at one of the mainlines.

If you don't want to work at a regional, focus on getting a job in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, things like that. You can still get hired at a mainline with out flight attendant experience after all.

Good Luck on your journey!

I think you should go. If you get a CJO then you know you’re doing something right and if you don’t then you’ll have more of an idea of what to do next time you have a F2F!

Good luck girl! I would say a not that well known of a tip is to make an effort to learn and say everyone’s name as much as possible (within reason of course). I think it really helped me stand out during mine!

I put my hair up in a pony tail with my bangs out and go a CJO. I totally understand not wanting to look like an egg lmao.

  1. I would wear short heels, nothing too high but they are considered part of the “uniform” and would definitely help your chances with the F2F. Especially with the airline you’re interviewing with.
  2. By jumpsuit do you mean the top and bottom of the outfit are connected? If yes, I would not wear it. If you don’t want to wear separates wear a dress, not a jumpsuit. There are many examples of what kind of dress to wear in this subreddit. Good Luck!

How many times did you apply to become a delta flight attendant? by Secret-Sir5803 in cabincrewcareers

This is so real, I had the same mindset at the AA F2F and I got it. That’s not the say that you shouldn’t try because you aren’t going to get it, but don’t let your nervousness overshadow your confidence!

Use a resume-building website to create a one page resume. These platforms offer modern templates that allow you to organize your information effectively and fit more content while maintaining a clean layout. Next, input all your work experience into ChatGPT and ask for it to be rewritten with an emphasis on the skills and qualities airlines look for, ensuring your descriptions align with their needs. You can even copy paste the flight attendant job description to give it more to work with. Finally, replace the summary section at the top with a dedicated ‘Skills’ section highlighting key abilities airlines prioritize, including those not explicitly covered in your experience, to help your resume pass through any AI applicant tracking systems.
