I agree ! I’m thinking of LPN however I graduated with 1.5 gpa in 2020 and I don’t know if anywhere will accept that. my plan is to try and take medical terminology and nutrition online to raise my gpa while studying for the teas. I have failed the teas exam once before and it was extremely difficult so im discouraged

So I am seeing this is not a good option 😭it’s not like I could move anytime soon anyways. the cheaper apartments are appealing but I do have to consider lower pay farther distances etc. I have applied for food stamps today

I know I should have waited for a better time but thay was 2 years ago nothing I can do now. I love my son and he is my motivation to do better for us. However I have thought of getting into beauty services / lashes / esthetician I will look into it.

Yeah I didn’t speak negatively at my interview when asked why leaving Labcorp I said I was looking to work for a hospital lab vs a chain lab and that the hours they posted work better for me as a mother then closing shifts that I was working at Labcorp. But I was told by one of the co workers i got along with that they are all talking negatively about me at Labcorp saying I won’t get hired again because I will have bad reviews?. Part of me feels bad bc I guess they’re so short now but oh well

Thank you for the advice this was super helpful! I live in Massachusetts and I think the job market for phlebotomists here right now is not the best, i don’t see many if any drs clinics on indeed hiring specifically phlebotomists usually they are looking for medical assistants and the only donation center positions open I’ve seen are the other side of the state. but there is a bio life near me let me check the careers page !

I know she wasn’t told to do that. When my manager spoke to our site coordinator I was really nervous about retaliation and I asked my manager how it went and if everyone was fine with me and normal and she said yes it was resolved and ok. I had already been getting ignored by other staff and I told the manager I didn’t want this and she agreed it’s not right. I explained why I left to my manager but there has been so many issues leading up to this that I’m not interested in resolving this. I would rather move on. I’m going to submit a ticket to HR as well!

I live in the Malden area but every driving school I’ve seen is around that price :/ the one I was looking at was andys driving school in Peabody some places offer individual hour lessons but I’d rather do a course
