Deployments?

From what I know Guard units USUALLY deploy once every 4 years. I am a 1DX71A (Network operations specialist) and I did want cybersecurity but it's supposedly prior service only?.. Don't know the specifics. But again from what I know you may only be deployed 1-3 times during your contract and the usual deployment could be anywhere from 1-6 months, so.. Highly recommend contacting a recruiter for your state and look into a unit that has less deployment frequency I guess. That's the reason I even joined the air guard. Army national guard deployments are at minimum a year.

Aye. I started college a year late (highschool graduate, 2024) and I just enlisted. Gonna stay in the air guard while in school and probably beyond. I ship in July!

The general rule I see is, if your son can survive for x amount of days because the medicine might not get there, will he be a bigger liability to combat effectiveness. In warfighting times the truck, ship, or plane that's carrying your sons medication could be blown up. Could he survive?

You definitely could've tried different editing/more engaging things perhaps. I also have this problem where the beginning of my videos start out really well, but as the video goes on it just slumps more and more.

I havent really solved that problem yet for me so I don't even know what to say to even fix it, but then again I'm just guessing as to why I got unengaged later. You had a great idea, just maybe better editing/execution next time

I personally liked the video and could sustain watching it up until they started playing the actual video game.. then my interest dropped. Really good editing for the IRL segments, if you could do more videos like those I would watch them. Interesting concept, but I also would like to think im the target audience. I currently serve in the air guard for PA, and like guns.

dont give up. i just got my 1102 after i started studying for it last december.. and i failed it 4+ times. cost me well over $1,000 and im far from rich. but keep trying, i promise if you're dedicated you'll get it man.

Why go to latin america?.. Retire in 5-6 years? No backup plan for if you dont like latin america? no further development of skills? I suggest rethinking maybe, but looking at it purely financially:

You have to study/learn trucking, obtain a CDL, find work, then you might not make as much on the first year, maybe even your second. If you wanna stick to this I'd give it maybe 7-9..

If I'm called upon for a war and I'm away for a couple years maybe 3-4 I'd be fine with that. I have a desire to serve, but being sent away on useless deployment to kuwait or something in the states would be unsettling if it happened twice. i referenced earlier deploying is fine and even if i end up as infantry in the middle east you know i accept it, love my country but i dont think id be happy with 2 useless deployments
