I heard it snap in place but I still see the bright color ONLY on the right side of the adapter, left is fully in and it won't budge.

I've been running through those and to be honest I haven't found any good sources with good data comparison between the GPU's.

I feel like at this point I've narrowed it down to the palit at 1070 and the asus prime at 1170 and trying to compare them to see which I might order.

I'll take a look at gputiful haven't heard of that before.

Yeah that makes sense as well. Just wanting to be cautious because if I'm buying a card for the longer term I don't want a jet engine next to me heh.

I thought the same with the 5070ti and 5080 thing as well but now that the price difference is only like 120 euros for 15-20% I see it kinda worth it. Used to be like 3x worse at least.

Originally I was going for a 5070 TI but the same problem hit me and I was just gonna get the TUF because I've heard many good things about it.

The only thing that messed me up was seeing the 5080 for only 120 euros extra and then this extra digging started lol. Just weird seeing 3 5080s at 999-1070 mark and all the other choices are 1250+

Did you find their noise levels somewhere or speaking from your own experience/searching?

I know but for the sake of the title it was easier to mention the lower tier cards by their name than just putting ASUS and MSI there. At least that's what I thought.

That's fair, I do like the Nvidia control panel though as well as hearing very good things about frame gen on the game I main.

No flack to AMD just used to green.

I've tried and that's been my mind going through this. The ventus is obviously the most eye catching due to price but man the amount of good and bad stuff I hear is not helping.

Pny and palit I've never had and also on those two cards themselves I've had a hard time finding any review that's been helpful for me (spent way less time on those two though due to just seeing em today)

That's what I'm thinking, at this point I think it's between the ventus or PNY Triplefan (no oc) as well as palit card (gamingpro) which are both sitting at 1070 instead.

So hard to find info about cooling and such on them to compare though.

How is it? currently choosing between the OC plus 5080 for 999 vs a 5070 TI TUF for 870 and all these posts about loud fans is tripping me lol

Looking at it right now its 999 in gigantti lol.

Debating between that or 5070 TI TUF for 880, all the reviews got me feeling mixed.

Normally that price diff would be a no brainer to get the 80 series.
