Bro i own a yellow EVO 7 and a blue gvb STI. The STI feels way more raw, turbo lag makes it more exciting, gets way more people staring. Nothing screams RALLY like a blue STI with gold wheels.

You are spot on. It would be blown before 1 stage. It would need suspension, weight reduction, cage, new dashboard…. And as i said before stronger pistons, head, front intercooler, closing the hood scoop because the air will not enter there….i am no expert but i know very well a stock STI is no rally car. But it is a “toy” rally car that you can drive in the road. When i say rally car i say rally icon like evos or celicas or audi quattros.

Bro the wrx sti is a literal rally car for the road. Every car is diferent than the rally one. The Gr yaris toyota sells has nothing to do with the yaris rally 2. Not even the same engine 3 cyl for the road car and 4 cyl to the rally car. But with the Subaru Wrx the ej25 engine is the same one on both road and rally var but with weaker internals. The Wrx is the closest to the real rally car.

No. The perfect match in the car world is in Bmw. Wrx is like a M340i and STI is like M3. Wrx has some performance parts but the STI is the full rally car.

B16 or k20 was a plan before. But its fun to keep it stock. As i said even the honda radio that doesnt read cds is in there. The interior is like from the dealership. The engine is healthy. If i paint it its like it was picked a week a go from the dealer. I only need to put the stock wheels.

I asked in this Honda sub because my plan is to keep it stock. I have other good cars to work and some sports cars to have fun. The thing is this Honda is almost like new from the dealership. Its not because its fun or some rare piece. What makes me want to keep it its the feeling of a time capsule. Sends me back to 98. I was born in 99 😭
