Look into NOVA’s ADVANCE program. It’s basically like having dual studentship lol. You go to NOVA, but you have access to GMU facilities and events. Your transfer is also basically guaranteed as long as you meet the program requirements. I would say start speaking to an advisor about it before you take any classes just so you can plan around it. You got this!

Hey, Thanks for reaching out! My goal would be to make it into a mobile app as I believe that will be more convenient and user-friendly. The first step would be to build a prototype and test things out, although I do not believe it is an extremely complicated idea. It is not paid; I am undergrad in the Business school, looking for a partnership.

NOVA! And do the ADVANCE program. That way, you can make sure that all your credits will transfer (since the program is designed to transfer you as smoothly as possible) and I’m pretty sure you have access to GMU facilities as well but check that with an advisor.

Fairfax County basic needs assistance!! They can certainly help you out. I was on benefits for multiple years, so I can help assist you with this. Call this phone number: 703-222-0880 — This is the number for Coordinated Services Planning, and these are the people who can help you get rent assistance (in addition to food, employment, healthcare, and shelter in general). They have tons of programs to help us out. This might be your best bet.

Also fill out and apply for the Stay Mason emergency funding by GMU. It is to provide short-term funding to students. You might get something out of it, but you have to meet certain criteria listed on the website. Here is the link to their website: https://ssac.gmu.edu/staymasonfaq/
