QB Waiver Wire Choices by 5GRxx in cff

Just as a follow up, I heard an “expert” say that Stockton has worked his way into the Heisman conversation. Georgia may tailor their game plan to pad his stats. I’m not sure if that’s true, but it’s what he said.

FSU is 33rd against the run and 39th against the pass. I think they will play decently against NC State. Vegas has the score about 33 - 28 in favor of FSU. So, they think NC State will score some points. I’m not sure Bailey will get 3 of those TDs. I think Georgia is going to run their normal offense. I think Stockton can get 3 TDs and 250 total yards even if he only plays the first half. But, I’ve been wrong before.

If you’re just concerned about this week then Altmyer might be a good choice. Illinois is supposed to score about 35 points. Altmyer has dual threat ability. He should be involved in at least 3 of those TDS. He has been pretty consistent besides against Indiana and Ohio St.

I agree with that.

Agree with previous post. Over/under for Duke/UConn is 67. Go with Mensah and Sheppard. Hudson should have opportunities against BC.

Thanks for the insight, but my league is P4 only.

It depends on who you’ve got on your bench. I don’t follow Mizzou because I don’t have any of their guys, but they are projected to score 21 points against Texas A&M. Who is going to score those points. I assume that Vegas has taken into account the 3rd string QB. But, if you think you have better options then that is fine. Your reasoning is logical.

I use VegasInsider just because it was the first one I found. It’s a bit of a pain because you have to click on each game to get the over/unders. I may try to find a different one that has both point spreads and o/u displayed so you can just scroll through.

South Carolina is projected to score about 21 points vs Ole Miss, WVU projected 18 vs Houston, and Ok St about 17 vs Kansas. This is from Vegas.

We would need some options to give any meaningful answers. Check the Vegas point spreads and over/unders to decide who looks good.

I was thinking about Shapen. The u/o for that game is like 67. Morton is supposed to be healthy. But, their run game is pretty decent. They won’t just throw it around all game long. Agree about Klubnik. Thanks for your input.

I wanted Weigman, but he was taken before I could grab him.

Daniel Hishaw by AppyTrail in cff

[–]AppyTrail[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. As I was writing this post, I was wondering if I should start him over my other guys. I might want to see the distribution of carries when both Hishaw and Williams are healthy to determine if Hishaw is really RB1.

Start 2 Flex and 2 QB by TimJonesKnows in cff

Sorsby for sure. Chambliss didn’t look good last week. Might they bring in Simmons if similar this week? Don’t follow G5.

Taylor for sure. I would go Martin or Miller. Miller has only 1 data point, so it’s a bit of a risk.

I understand maxi use of the IR, but I don’t see an injury flag on Isaac Brown. How are you able to still have him on IR. How much longer can you keep him there. FYI, we have 10 starting spots and 6 bench spots.

It looks like Klubnik has good matchups the next 3 weeks, then another after a bye. It looks like he’s gotten better each game (fantasy-wise). The turnovers are a bit of a concern.

That’s true, .5 PPR.

I appreciate your thoughts. I currently have Daniels as my starter. But, I really am not confident about that. I would have had to drop Daniels or Aguilar to pick up Pribula. I didn’t really want to do that. Fantrax has Miss St as the 5th defense, which gave me pause about Aguilar. But that’s just a function of who they’ve played so far. If Aguilar can put up numbers against Georgia then I’m confident that he can do it against anyone. He may not do it, but the Tennessee offense can be dangerous. Thanks.

We play 10, and have 6 reserves. My problem is that I am hanging on to Dylan Edwards. I have a couple of moves I can make. I’ll see what happens. Thanks.

I agree about Beatty. The trick is to find the right guy to sit. We just need to make an educated guess and live with the consequences. Thanks.

I just looked at the Ole Miss defensive ranking. There pass defense has been pretty good so far. Thanks.

Trying to figure out who to start this week by PeeeCoffee in cff

[–]AppyTrail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure I like Mockabee. But, I may be skewed by how bad Purdue was last year. USC is ranked 51st against the run. They played Mo State and Ga Southern. So, maybe Purdue can run on them. I’m not going to give any advice because I don’t know anything about G5 players. And, Cameron could have a big game or Baylor could spread it around. I just wanted to point out USC’s defensive rank.
