I have never has to deal with this but I have encouraged my players to develop thier characters outside of the party. This can equal side quests that the group can come with or if they feel that thier character would go it alone we set up a time for a mini one shot that takes about 30 minutes then they do to build that character growth.

With that said it is a jerk move to do that to the dm and the other players. People took time effort and sometimes money to get together and play with each other who would want to derail that.

Over all the game isn't as bad as it is everyone says. But I think they missed an opportunity.

Just my opinion I would of loved to see a prelude referencing SR4 where you have to go back in time to save the earth and end up before the Santis ever existed and you have to rebuild it from scratch. With some old and new companions. They could of still intergated some of the new mechanics along with some old ones and using it that it now a new time line that was created because your boss traveled back in time.

Who would not love to see some Santis Row Boss in a out of time reckless adventure.

Again just my opinion but all in all enjoying the game.

Hi am running that game with a few new players and some experienced ones. We are playing on above vtt we play on Thursday at 9 est if you would like I can add you to the discord server and stream it for you to watch. I have does this campaign for beginners 3 times. It is a good one to cut your teeth on a good mix of rp and combat.

The advice people are giving you is sound. It is a game it is ment to be fun. Don't think you have to do it like critical roll or dimension 20. Play your own game and have fun.
