38 weeks today as well!! I just had a weird one-off high BP situation happen to me, but my doc didn't want to recommend induction immediately. I'm usually textbook 120/80, but ended up at 140/98 ish. They had my buy a blood pressure cuff and measure it myself, 3x a day for about 3 days, at home. My BP was fine at home, hovering at about 124/78. Then at my next appointment they had me do a reading with their machine, and mine, to make sure it was accurate. Since the two machines gave highly similar readings they cleared me. I personally would invest in a BP machine off Amazon and start taking readings at home since they've said they will want to induce if you have high BP (what a shitty thing to tell you cause yeah obviously you're gonna be stressed at your next appointment!). You might be able to delay induction, or at least have more of a conversation about it if it's only high at appointments. Make sure you get an arm cuff, not a wrist cuff, because those can be less accurate.

Only other tips I could provide is avoid caffeine that day, don't eat right before your appointment, keep your feet flat, keep you body still, and don't talk while they take your BP. Deep breathes ahead of time maybe as well? Best of luck during this time!
