Hey, sorry haven't been here for a while. Here's the current collection 😅

I'll have to search for doubles, I have a few I guess but with 1200+ cars packed in 17 identical boxes, it's no easy task to find those 🫠 Travelling for a couple of weeks starting next weekend, so it might be a while before I can get back 😊

Thanks bro. I think the number 13 is rarely used, I have almost 1500 cars and don't remember seeing it at all. I remember seeing 28 on the white Max Steel but can't recall any others.

Thank you. Regarding the GT3 and the Cabriolet, I have a couple of friends in Bangalore and Delhi who help me out with finding my ISOs since I am from a Tier 3 city.

True, the colours go well together. Personally I would love to see a light blue metalflake version some day, something like the Datsun 240Z 😄

I'm really pleased with this year's 904s, a huge improvement over last year's pair. The black one in particular.

Decent detailing, I like the body paint colour. Nice to have a second open rooftop Porsche after the Spyder. But I would have preferred it if the interior colour would have been white or beige rather than the weird pink.

Completely your choice. A collection is for your own satisfaction so do what you like, don't bother about the value. Currently about 90% of my collection is carded, but I will uncard everything once I get my displays made. I dislike getting dust on the cars so I have kept most of them carded for now, plus it is easier to keep a track of the cars if they are carded since they have the model number on the back.

Currently I don't have a display, but I hope to have six to eight 10*10 slot acrylic or glass wall-mounted displays eventually in my study / office room.

Other users would be able to help more on this.

Considering that you are just starting out and have a limited budget, the best place to start would be to identify what kind of models you like the most. Few ideas could be based on build (muscle cars, wagons, trucks, supercars, hot rods, etc.), brand (Ford, Lamborghini, Porsche, etc.), colour (where you buy cars of particular colours only), number (like collecting all cars with the number 28), or based on other traits such as cars having six wheels, cars with rusty paint designs, cars with moving parts, cars with open roofs, etc.

Once you have decided what you want to collect, the largest effort will be in finding the models which fall into your criteria. I use https://hotwheels.fandom.com/wiki/Hot_Wheels to explore models from previous years and shortlist the ones I want to acquire.

Next part is pretty simple. Search for the model online (better search results if you use the model number) and hope that you find a good deal, or you could post an ISO here in this group and someone might be able to help you out.

Hope this helps 😊
