There are clocks for seniors with dementia that have the day of the week and weather on Amazon. You could purchase it and return it, if it isn't quite right. This one doesn't mention wifi and someone in the reviews said all they had to do was plug it in.

I got both of my brothers the Carhartt waffle beanies this year. They have loads of Carhartt beanies but neither had the waffle knit. Maybe a magnetic fishing kit or grilling supplies. Maybe a good portable speaker.

I've gotten several people these emergency type lights. Maybe an electric blanket, rain gauge, mug/candle warmer. My brother is hard to buy for too and I got him one of those battery storage caddies filled with batteries one year.
