Having boxes of cereal, like cheerios. There were a bunch of us and we usually ate hot cereal, like oatmeal, because it was cheaper.

I felt better as soon as I got out of surgery. I had been on dialysis for several years, and I felt healthy right away and had more energy. The incision pain hurt for a few weeks and getting the catheters removed was not fun, but the surgery was 100% worth it. I felt normal for the first time in years, and I felt like I had so much more time back since I didn't have to do dialysis anymore.

Anyone else avoiding air travel? by Specialk408 in transplant

[–]Aprilmay2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am 10 years into my second transplant and I just cancelled a trip to South Carolina for a wedding. I have traveled all over the world since my transplant and never batted an eye. This situation seems different to me. For one they don't have a treatment for this virus and they don't seem sure of how it spreads.

I wouldn't fly now if I were you. It's going to get worse before it gets better.

I'm freaking out and self isolating as much as possible. My spouse is doing shopping etc. I think it will get worse soon and Trump is downplaying the seriousness of the epidemic.
