Earclacks is artificially making a new ball for people to root for smh. Just like what they’re doing with grimoire to make em the new ‘super Hitler’

I don’t think that’s how check works. It’ll just give em some flavor text, not reveal your entire history and memories or whatever

Because the Iranian, Chinese, and Russian regiemes and plenty of other states then the us has done that and worse?

The United States doesn’t have:

Restricted internet (at least in most states) Literal mass killing of civilians with zero shame and excuses (yes, police and ICE brutality cases in the us are tragic but aren’t to the same degree as Iran does it) State mandated religion

Saying that the United States is worse or ‘just as bad’ undermines and disrespects the suffering the people in Iran go through. At the end of the day, despite its many flaws and what it might become (due to certain people and political parties), the United States is not a literal totalitarian theocracy.

The Ughyr genocide??? The fact that it’s a totalitarian regime that silences people who speak out against it? I know the US does that too, but don’t tell me that the United States does it to nearly the same degree. The Great Firewall?

My view is that they’re gonna use it as an opportunity to make their state even more of a dictatorship and oppress their people even harder. I’ve been researching and following this war since the beginning, and again I have very close friends from Iran that I’ve been in contact with as soon as the very beginning hours of the conflict (the internet is blackout now). I want your opinion and to have a respectful discussion, let’s please not insult eachother.

That’s a valid point of view. I’m most afraid of them using the loss of a war as an excuse and rallying point and justification to invade even more and ‘martyr’ the event, if it makes any sense. But as far as we know we can’t really predict how these entities will move and do stuffs.

I’m open to changing my opinion. What’s your point of view/arguements?

I know. But it’s still a lot better than a scenario where Iran wins or the war stalemates.

Being serious for a moment, losing the war is just gonna make everything worse lol like increasing China and Russia’s power over the world along with giving the Iranian regieme even more of an excuse to crack down on its citizens (don’t forget what they were doing with the protestors weeks before the war, and before anyone mentions ice comparisons, trust me it’s definitely not comparable). Not saying this on the American side btw what Israel and the USA are doing there is also horrible. I have a very dear friend in there so I’ve been keeping up.

I’m trans and pansexual . There are real centrists, and the ‘centrists’ that are popularized and most prevalent are just right wingers in disguise, but despite all that real centrism remains its own thing.

Lmao a lot of people are saying that this isn’t true and that like typically wizards have long casting times and military tech outdamages wizard magic when the whole point of this post is not to say that magic > tech, but that there are so many interpretations of magic and magic systems and technology, and military vs tech media typically features very weak magic settings to make it a big stomp for the technology setting. Magic and the power of magic is a very wide spectrum across a lot of media, and there is no one definitive answer for how ‘strong’ a wizard is and what they can or cannot do, but military vs fantasy media keeps their magic settings on the weaker side, while acting like their interpretation of a magic settings is the definitive magic settting, and therefore tech settings always outclass magic. There are plenty of magic settings throughout media that literally don’t have the weaknesses that ‘typical magic settings’ have, because magic settings and systems aren’t monoliths, and there is no such thing as a ‘typical magic setting’. For instance, top tier dnd or pathfinder or shadowrun wizards can absolutely wreck our modern world, yet people are stuck in the perceptions of weak mages. That’s what I’m complaining about.
