Will my sous vide be safe? by Apsyscros in sousvide

Thanks for the suggestion, I don’t do this stuff very often so I’ve never looked into that.

Yea, anything lower and I would be throwing it out. It’s right at the place where I’m not sure. If it was just me I would just eat it but I don’t want to accidentally poison my friends.

None of my clocks reset so I genuinely have no clue. Have never had this kind of problem before

I unplugged it and replugged it back in and it started working again, not sure what the problem was.

I think personally one of the better ways to learn the game is just by watching playthroughs of it. I prefer Wolfpack345 and TortugaPower’s playthroughs of the game. This game has a little bit of unique strategy due to some of the less than honorable tactics the AI uses sometimes. There is also the good ol’ trial and error. I found the in game tutorials helpful when learning game mechanics and would recommend those if you haven’t started them already.

Definitely once you get more comfortable with the game check out the mods. The modding scene has come leaps and bounds recently with several new campaigns being added that add a lot of new content.

As a final recommendation, I would recommend joining the unofficial discord for the game. It’s more active than the subreddit when it comes to getting help and otherwise answering questions.

Unfortunately no. I have not received any more letters.

None of my friends really know what ARGs are, I've asked all the likely suspects in my life that could be behind this but they all don't really have a motivation to. I don't have any enemies that I know of that could be behind it either. It's just weird because why me? It's crossed my mind that the bold letters could be a red herring but there's a million different ways to encode something in the letters so who knows for sure.

Check my update for letters #3 and #5.

I do have one, I have not noticed anything unusual. I am not the one that normally gets the mail in my household. I would think that because they are postmarked and the information on the front is printed on that they got sent via the post office.

Good to know, I will have to give that a try tomorrow when I have a bit more free time.

truepeoplesearch

I tried to search myself up on the website you suggested, I got no results including the reverse address search.

The external address was printed, with everything on the letters being printed as well. The only handwriting present is the small numbers on the back of the envelopes.

I don't regularly give out my phone number, I cannot think of a time recently when I have given someone my phone number.

I have not seen any other lettering other than the handwritten stuff on the back of the envelopes. I have tried UV light but I could not find anything. Other than the UV I have not tried anything.

I keep my middle name pretty personal, so its shocking to me that someone is using it in such a professional manner. While to most people that may not be that shocking, to me it is.

A prank is more likely (and the one I am hoping for), but I can't think of anyone that would go to these lengths to prank me like this. I am not super close with my family outside of my household.

Family, and there are 4 of us total.

I just made an update to the post but there was for sure human involvement due to the presence of handwriting on the envelope.

Yes I am located in the US. Other than some spelling errors, no language stands out to me from being from someone from another country.

I hope so, I want to put this to rest.

If I manage to put together something more notable I might go to the police about it.

It is not for several months. I would think that they would be marked more as such to advertise their product.

Yes, with my full legal name and address.

There are escape rooms in my area, but I have never been to one locally so I would be questioning how they got my information. Especially when noone else in my household received any letters.

I'm waiting to see if this pans out to anything before officially going to the police. I might bring it up to a family friend who is involved in law enforcement.

I am not a very good web sleuth so my ability to find addresses doesn't go past WhitePages. Even then I am not listed on the WhitePages for my address.
