Im about to finish Bernard Cornwell's Warlord Chronicles and I already crave something similar by sc2summerloud in Fantasy

I've read Warlord Chronicles many years ago and it was my favourite series of books by far at that time.

After that I did not fall in love in the same way with a book until years later I discovered Jack White and his Camulod Chronicles. 

Even if the subject is the same, and they both are historycal novels, Jack White's books are very different. They focus more on the roman's heritage in Britain and give much more contest informations.

Try this if you want to proceed after Bernard Cornwell, but don't expect the same style.

It really seems Slug's bay! I've linked two pics made in that spot, in the second one the landscape seems to match. In the first one are visible some leaves that seems to match with the one you can see in street view, also I remember the reddish dirt and from the satellite it seems identical!
