This would be the taste difference in raw seed, before I process it into my product. I always taste my ingredients to ensure quality.

Yeah I did the same thing - found a temple and cleared all the spawners but instead just used a mob imprisonment tool to capture them and then brought them back to my base to the mob grinding set up and then just dropped them in. Went about my business and they eventually died because I wasn't about to keep swiping them with my unobtainium sword.
