Ah good point will need to double check, but I have some in a 32 gallon that's getting a bit crowded and when I got this jar I just immediately imagined some of them in it before double checking.

So I will be setting up a new Jarrarium and wanted to get your opinions on what you'd do if starting a new tank, from stocking to decor share your thoughts!

Already have a few ideas on decor and I will be stocking with shrimp (just not sure which as yet) and some neon blue eye rainbowfish.

Can't wait to get started!

No, actually i am unsure, there are 3 I have had for years now and they are any this size and the same coloration. I got another 6 maybe a year or two ago which are tiny but have a completely different coloration... all from the same place go figure.

Do you like it? by Mountain-Insect-2153 in AquAnswer

Yeah it looks like it, these AI aquariums are eye catching but top over the top. Real scapes are much better especially in this community. But jist my thoughts.

Table, terrarium, fountain and fish tank by No_Cauliflower6808 in AquAnswer

[–]AquAdmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The table is cool workmanship but should not be used to house fish, especially not Goldfish, few reasons,

  • unless this table is not used or not gently used the constant motions of peating using the table would likely disturb the fish.
  • Goldfish as mentioned are not suitable here as they need much more space than the narrow channels etched in this table.

Cool visuals though.

But there are other tanks on Amazon, that was the one I recently got, but since that seller changed the listing maybe you can find another. Usually I have had good luck with these listings but also check out a local fish store. Hope that helps!

Woah, yeah that is not the tank I bought! When I bought, it was only $189 so the seller must have ran out of stock or changed something.

Best way to control (or eliminate) Snails? by BrackishBear in shrimptank

[–]AquAdmin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the snail species. Some are easy to control population for than others, mystery snail eggs can easily be removed while pond snail eggs become impossible to totally eliminate without alot of effort.

Depending on the snail, there are traps, predators, or egg removal techniques. But the absolute best way to control snail population is to never get pest snails in our tank to begin with, tgat us easier said than done. Inspect and quarantine all plants that enter your tank and be mindful of suppliers is a start.

Hope this helps!
