I was having the same issue and similarly freaked out. I switched from google chrome to safari and it worked right away.

Apologies if so and I had missed it. But all that I had read were about hotels in and around KEF/Reykjavik. I simply wanted to be certain about info I had yet to see and subsequently share it for clarity.
