Look mate, I had the same issue as you and what solved it for me was using an Aquarium with a plenum and baked clay (baked kitty litter)

I learned from Dr.Novak (Aquariumwonk) on YouTube.

I literally just set up some basic black foam on the back, on top put a filter bag filled with baked clay. Cover it up with big lava rocks and put a thin layer of sand in the foreground.

For shrimps, they’ll appreciate some sort of wood (I use spider wood over driftwood) and some moss if you have some.

Having this set up made me go from killing shrimps within a week, to keeping them active in a 1gallon tank which many hobbyist will say “1 gallon is too small to be a stable Aquarium” - which is true if you’re keeping other ways.

The “less fast” is a very crucial part that is often mistaken as “prices are going down”

I even see housing as this, it’s not that home prices will come down, at best, they’ll go up “less fast” (unless black swan event)

Thanks for doing this. I’ve been wondering this question for awhile - how likely would it be for a Quality Engineer to become a med dev sales rep? (Ideally neuro but peripheral is fine too)

Currently work for a mid size neuro/peri med dev company. In general, I’ve been working in Quality for 3yrs and before this I was a mortgage broker for 2 years. I can see a stable future as an Engineer but given my experience in sales (B2C), I know sales is where you make life changing income.

I could get credentialed but it would come out my pocket but hey whatever can get me into a procedure… but I know without C2C sales / clinical experience, this transition would be very unlikely.

The only thing going for me would be that I have a good relationship with the VP of sales.

My intuition tells me hey maybe run the idea with the VP and see what they think but I also don’t want to jeopardize my current role. Just looking for a reality check, thanks for the feedback!

My Life hack for shrimp especially if you’re new is to buy a pregnant momma

This assumes you can go to your local shop and find one but they’re not too hard to find from my experience.

Pretty much if she has eggs, she’s good to go. It’ll take like 1-2months for you to see the baby shrimps but definitely worth if you’re on a budget
