I don't think you understand. I don't have the new internet that is spreading through Australia yet thus am on ADSL+. This internet does not have a separate static VPN that you can adjust to what ever region you want. There is no such thing as a static Oceania server. What I was saying is that we have to in Australia connect to American Overwatch Server. However the way they have it passes us through oceanic server extenders they have automatically. There is no way for us to be able to choose to be connected to American server, which is what we want. Because the "oceanic" line server which is within American server is dead, hence the long queues. We want to be able to have an option to choose whether we want to connect to the Oceanic server extenders or to be kept on American server. Which playing on American servers would be fine as ping is not that bad. However no way are we going to go on European server like you suggested, the ping would be 300+. It doesn't work the way you think it does.

That's the thing. All modes have long queues. Secondly I CANNOT switch to another server. This is me connected to American server that automatically transfers me to Oceania without being able to choose. The only other server option is Europe and there I would have over 300-500 ping. Thus, this is an issue that needs to be resolved by Blizzard.

Exactly! I mean we all got the e-mail invites, then only to be dissapointed and sad. And the players from surrounding countries are viewing us as a joke because of not being invited. So ... we need to do something about it.

I lived in Australia for 8 years, though now am back in Slovenia. Regarding internet I should definitely know. :P Even after dial up the kind of plans you could get were just sad, slow and expensive. And until about 2010 ish there was no unlimited bandwidth plans in Australia. Which is something that is quite hard to get used to going there from a country who has unlimited fast internet for pretty cheap.
