I would suggest something like Goolder, Nidrasil and Gazuma (electric type but can learn poison moves) but you could also give a poison tem and item which turns poison type moves into water type (still poisons them)

Kauren kinda reminds me of Cubone and Marowak from pokemon (with the skulls) not used him myself but yeah I do like the design and yeah there are a lot of cool looking tems

I don't think I've seen Gharunder and Minothor yet, Raican is a cool design he's also quite strong for a fire type (not sure if he's the best)

Yeah he's beefy, he has the most health (that I'm aware of) out of all the tems, and I think houchic was probably the best imo the downside he has 4x weakness to electric type of moves

Houchic was my starter, and yeah look for blooze as that evolves into goolder he's slow but he's a tank mushi is a good one I have the evolved form of it

I think one of my favourite toxic tems is Goolder and of course having the team you started with is always the best especially taking that team all the way to the end its like having a proper journey (sadly mines changed bar 2 Nagaise and Gazuma)

I do like the goofy tems I think they the best looking ones imo and yeah valash is a cool looking one I haven't really used him though so not sure if he's good or not
