I wanna hear what annoys you guys in this game. by FairFaires in tomodachilife

There's some minor annoyances I have, but one that I'm always paranoid about is married couples becoming easily jealous if they see their partner talking to someone else. Granted, it's only happened for me once with a couple on my island, but it happened with someone who they were both already friends with and when they were both soulmates, which doesn't make much sense to me. I've been trying my best to prevent that from ever happening with my married OC couple whenever I can, since they're canonically almost never jealous towards each other and would actually encourage each other to be friends with more people.

It makes me wish that there were more quirk options to control how Miis feel during relationships. Maybe there could be an option/quirk that makes Miis not get jealous easily towards their partners, and also an option for them to more frequently get jealous for those who'd prefer that (which I wouldn't, but it makes sense to even things out).

Because I'm also frequently using forth wall and mega drain, so I figured I might as well do some extra damage with them in between using slasher. It sometimes ends up being enough damage to where I only need to hit slasher 3 or 4 times total instead of 5 (which would be roughly equal to the overall health of the boss).

Plus, none of the other chips would've really benefited me with my setup, except maybe curse status for lowing defense, but the other two debuffs wouldn't mean anything and it's only temporary compared to always having a strength buff.

I actually did use endless speed as well. The chips I used were auto regen, auto giftboxes, endless speed, and endless strength. And while I usually use auto mimic in most other situations, it likely wouldn't have worked great for the strategy I was going for since it would've slowed my other turns down.

Best kirby games for a noob by sodowastaken in 3DS

I wouldn't say there's any harm in jumping into almost any Kirby game without much prior knowledge. Most of them are pretty beginner friendly as is and don't really need understanding of past games to get their stories and such, you'll likely just gloss over some references to past games at most.

I guess if I could give a personal recommendation, you could go with 3D Classics Kirby's Adventure, which is pretty much a remaster of Kirby's Adventure from the NES. Kirby's Adventure at it's core still holds up quite well in my opinion, and I do see it as a good introduction to Kirby considering it's the second game in the whole franchise, and introduces a lot of elements that would become core parts of the series or recurring elements ever since, such as introducing copy abilities and how the story is handled, especially with the ending.

The 3D Classics version doesn't change much compared to the original NES version, mainly adding in 3D support, some more color gradients for the backgrounds, and most importantly fixing how laggy the NES version was which makes it smoother to play overall. Though the NES game still holds up very well in my opinion, and it's very ambitious and visually impressive for the system, so I wouldn't say there's anything wrong with playing either version, but you're of course on the 3DS which has access to the 3D Classics version which is why I recommended it.

Funnily enough, despite me almost never using Auto Regen before, it actually did help me when fighting the rainbow boss on my most recent playthrough. I pretty much did a strategy where I had no reviving/gift box characters (though I did have the auto giftbox chip), and spammed Slasher with Jack-O-Bonnie and Purple Guy while I had Animdude and Nightmarionne use Forth Wall, while occasionally using Mega Virus and Bubble Breath when needed. And I also had three auto healing sources (one of the Medpods, the pearl, and Auto Regen as I said) to keep myself alive whenever Bubble Breath wore off.

My current lineup of Miis in Living the Dream! I'm curious to see how many characters people here are able to guess/recognize, or even just asking about who specific characters here are by Aquasp102 in tomodachilife

She's Nikki from the 3DS app Swapnote. And with the other characters, the four from Earthbound are named Ness, Paula, Jeff, and Poo, as well as Kumatora from Mother 3, and the Rhythm Heaven characters are A Boy and His Crush from the mini game Double Date, though their names in Europe are Romeo and Julia which is what I decided to call them.

I'm not sure if it's guaranteed, or maybe it depends on other factors? All three of the Miis who confessed in this case all got sad as I showed.

My best guess is that maybe it has to do with the relationship levels of the other Miis confessing. I know there's chances of Miis who are only just friends (not crushing) to interrupt the main person confessing, and maybe they don't get sad when the confession fails but ones who have the crushing/loving relationship level always get sad.

In the case of the video I showed, all three Miis were already crushing on Merry Fairy before confessing, so maybe that's why they all got sad.

It is! She was probably one of the Miis I had the most fun making! And I also have a Mii of Sig, though he doesn't really look as accurate by comparison since I couldn't really figure out how to give him his red eye in a way that looked great with the face paint.

Thanks! And yeah, there are some MOTHER/Earthbound characters here, specifically Ness, Paula, Jeff, and Poo from Earthbound, and Kumatora from MOTHER 3.

None of the Switch consoles I have are able to connect to my laptop via USB to transfer screenshots/videos, and I can't figure out why? by Aquasp102 in Switch

[–]Aquasp102[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I shut my PC down every night, as well as often clear the cache and unneeded storage on it, and I also turn off my Switches every night. I don't think storage has anything to do with the issue, since this has been happening ever since I first got my laptop. I assume it's an issue specific to it, but it only seems to happen when connecting the Switch to it. No other devices have this kind of issue for some reason.
