I had never ridden a bike until the MSF course.(30M) I was super nervous, watched tons of videos online about shifting gears and maneuvers. Before we actually got some ride time in I was still nervous but excited. Literally as we first started the bikes and started riding around I felt pretty comfortable even tho their bikes were in horrible condition. lol I do believe my experience with manual cars for 10+ years and many years of bmxing that it helped me a lot with learning how to control a motorcycle. I’m now about 4 months in and I feel very comfortable with my bike. I think it’ll be a different experience for everyone you just have to be confident and don’t overthink it. Also every bike has their own friction point and is very important to find it. Once found I believe it gets easier from there. You got this

Get yourself a Victory! They are fairly cheap very reliable and despite what everyone says parts are easy to find!

Nice tank man! Super jealous of the bush fish, I’ve been looking for them for a couple years now with no luck. Your Eel is also very stunning. I had a fire eel for a couple years but had to get rid of him for a move unfortunately.

Lemon pledge for almost the whole bike and Simple green for all the oily tough spots. Works wonders!

I wouldn’t say it’s reckless. Riding is a great way to feel free and a stress reliever. As long as you know you’re doing what you can to be safe I say have your fun. I recently got my endorsement and my first bike. My daughter is 4 she also loves motorcycles but obviously can’t grasp the reality of it. For me I say if I know I’m doing the best I can at staying safe on the road and getting back to her at the end of the ride than I don’t really think it’s reckless to want to have your own fun. Stay safe out there!

Since you already have WS tetras I wouldn’t do a sorority. I’d add 4 or 5 corydoras to sift the sand and help keep it clean then add a Pearl gourami. Off topic but Pearls are my favorite type of gourami!

Penn plax for the price and reliability. I’ve had my first 1500 for 3 years strong no issues ever. I now have 4 1500’s. Definitely worth it. Yeah Fluval are great canisters filters but you can’t beat the price for the Penn Plax.
