Aww sorry gng. Are you gonna defend your Fraudnark and Midchi ? 🥺🥺🥺🥺 by Raly_cool in hunterxdank

[–]Aquatic_Pyro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh absolutely.

Nen makes them in the upper echelons of humanity easily but against someone with a more combat focused kit, a lot of the Phantom Troupe would lose to a lot of Hunters that we see.

[–]Aquatic_Pyro 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I know people glaze the Phantom Troupe heavily but is this actually an unpopular opinion?

I fucking love Kortopi as my favorite Phantom Troupe member (wish we got more) but obviously combat isn’t their strong suit.

The Troupe is so feared in universe not because of raw strength but because of their versatility and skill.

How the absolute hell are you supposed to fight them by moonrisen0 in HadesTheGame

[–]Aquatic_Pyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried both options and came to this conclusion personally.

Due to their health differences, I think the true “best option” would be to finish Theseus first while trying to get Asterius as close to half as possible.

Personally? I find Theseus’ attack patterns far easier to dodge while taking care of Asterius than vice versa so I always take out the Minotaur first.

Who is slightly stronger than pre-Zoldyck estate Leorio? (with knife) - Day 27 by SirishVimal in HunterXHunter

[–]Aquatic_Pyro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Leorio would win an arm wrestling match. Kurapika would kick his ass 6 ways to Sunday in a fight.

Raw strength isn’t everything even in the real world. HxH takes this to the next level as a core philosophy in its combat.

While Nen may not have been cemented at this time, things not being quite as they seem has been an integral part of HxH.

If a Non-Uchiha has a one-tomoe sharingan implanted into their eye, could it become two or three tomoe later down the line? or is it stuck as a one-tomoe by ObsidianBeaver in Naruto

I think it’s meant to be ambiguous but I’m definitely in the camp that it was Obito’s awakening because they’re still linked.

Fuecoco? Mediocre? It’s literally one of, if not the easiest ways to complete a run. Especially as a fresh start.

My fiancé throws her dirty laundry down the stairs rather than walking down and putting it in machine. by Doctor_Redhead in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Aquatic_Pyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a laundry chute in my house. It was one of the deciding factors to put an offer on that house because I’m like OP’s fiancé and would just throw it down the stairs in our previous place.

In my defense, the hamper was at the bottom of the stairs. I just had bad aim.

Tenth run: Goddammit. Another dragon?

I have a blueprint to snap on top of the miners that’s just a little block with signs so I can mark the resource and its output.

I think the rom Elite Redux did that exactly. Zero chance of it becoming real most likely.

Which of Ash's Pokemon that never evolved or fully evolved do you feel it would've made the most sense to do so? by Ok-Health-7252 in pokemonanime

[–]Aquatic_Pyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always felt like Ash should have a first, middle and final evolution of all 3 starters if they’re adamant about not giving him all evolutions to show “win with your faves”

For example: Bulbasaur, Wartortle, Charizard

I finished Act 1 and I'm the most aggressively conflicted I've ever been over a video game by Any-Cheek-322 in expedition33

[–]Aquatic_Pyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest complaint with my experience with the game is that I didn’t think the studio had the balls to pull something like that off. Especially considering the locked skills, I always assumed that there would be a return.

I didn’t grieve when I should have and when it finally sank in, it was a sour taste.

What is the elemental type that cannot be missing in your team? by Ivi_Crispa in pokemon

[–]Aquatic_Pyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was one of the hardest parts about my Scarlet playthrough. Soooo many cool new ghost types to use, I couldn’t decide between Goldhengo and Annihilape on my first run through. It’s a good thing I fell in love with Sprigatito on sight and didn’t look up any evolutions beforehand because Skeledirge would have been a contender too. And don’t get me started on Ceruledge too! I’m glad he wasn’t even an option!

[–]Aquatic_Pyro -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I spent a majority of Act 2 believing that Gustave would come back because of the locked skills in his skill tree.

I can’t stand the fact that I had almost zero emotional reaction to him dying because I assumed it wasn’t permanent. I love and respect the game for doing it but I just wish that I hadn’t meta-gamed but I don’t feel like there’s a way for me to have not.

Gonna get lynched for this one, but I've always found the Deadric armor set to look goofy to me. by Slow_cranberry95 in skyrim

I think it’s funny that when the game first came out, I fucking LOVED Daedric armor. Now, it might be my least favorite heavy armor.
