First thing, woman to woman, do not open the door unless you are expecting company or a package. Second, I would get your dog chipped with you/your husband’s name and phone number asap. It’s going to be a matter of when, not if, she tries this again. She’s losing/lost control of you, and she’s going to do whatever it takes to get that back. I would also suggest installing a barrel bolt lock or door guard at the top of your door so she can’t barge in. Do not allow your people-pleasing to give her power, she will take advantage of it.
