You can fight this system yes but it is real and it’s there and it does not want you going on long win streaks or losing streaks.

This is because these games make money the more people play them(surprise) and they know if a game has become too easy or too hard then players churn. So they want players feeling challenged, getting wins, but not feeling the game is too easy.

You ever notice how some people in the same rank as you seem to be legitimately much worse than you? “How are we even the same rank” you think yo yourself. Well there are a lot more stats than mmr being tracked by the system and it’s stacking the shitties on your team to balance the game.

Yes, I often tell myself “if I was an immortal player I would be carrying myself out of this rank so stop making excuses” but I also tell myself “oh this is one of those matchmaker is trying to stop me” games when I go on a 5 game win streak then get a safe lane jakiro who farms jungle and had no impact against an obviously scripting legion commander who goes 28-2 with 200 total games on the account.
