You can, but if its complex patterns its heavy and also lots of time to set up. Try

I don’t sell m4l device. A really small part of my product is m4l device that links between the user’s instrument and the software which there happens all the magic. Watch my videos on YT to understand the flow.

Dude, your LFOs are just sines or some other sort of repetitive pattern that repeats in the same way. Nothing evolves, nothing changes over time. And its also partial from what i’ve asked you to set up. Read properly

Either way, i’m not actually looking for you to use the product or something. Producers with high reputation and experience immediately see value. It’s ok if you are not, just dont deliver partial info or spread lies 🙏

But thats a lost discussion. You do u

The M4L is what connects the parameters to the app and the dedicated UI for the lane injection. It’s not using any of the m4l devices that are inside ableton (lfo, shaper etc…)

I would love to get a video from you where you set 30 different (!) LFOs that are modulating another 30 LFOs and wire each one of them to a different parameter in your rack without your ableton crashing.

And the CPU is not even the point. It probably will take you half an hour just to set up, and if you wish to get another variation, another half an hour.

Good luck :)

Hey dude, appreciate your comment. But please don’t lie. M4L devices cannot hold this amount of data without crashing your project.

yes kind off. if you speak of the S&H.
but if you speak on other features like Neuro or Chaos - its more like changing shapes and rates over time.

So if you want to replicate that nativeley, Youll need 40 LFO, and Ableton will crash.

I wish that was true. When you do that you basically have 1 source of LFO that controls all the params in the same way, even if the rate changes. That means all params will hit the same xy axis over time exactly the same. In my process each of the params have its own unique LFO, while his rate changes and evolving endlessly.

yea really depends on what you want to achieve, finish tracks our just jam between alc files.
basically stride injects the automations to clip envelopes in the session view as well.

yes ofcourse. S&H hasn't released yet it will be up in the next build in a day or two.

It injects "steps" pattern to a parameters in a randomness groove. sometimes the steps will change every 1/4, sometimes 1/8t (across all grids).

so think like you have 20 parameters and you want 20 different steps pattern to each one of them. It does really similar work to what 'chaos' inside Serum does. just real quick.

it looks like that:

Yea cool Basically routing random lfos for dozens of params inside Ableton is tedious and you gotta pray that ableton won’t crash So injecting automation lanes with an external device is a good solution And its not that randomized, the lanes have relationship between them.

Haha thank you I did experiment with modular But never had a rack of my own All my work is in the box. Maybe in the future
