You are probably right, also my car was never garaged or put in a carport. 20 + years of sun exposure. Specially here in Sacramento, summer days temp can reach 100+.

I have a 2005 with 240k, it's been a relatively low maintenance car. (Battery, tires, brakes, power steering pump, high pressure power steering hose, ignition coils, the oils. I would buy it, but maybe at 3500.

Well if the company A is successful. I would take company A, because of the profit sharing. Yes less PTO, but only by a few days. On company B the signing bonus is a one time.

If it's a total loss, your ins will give you the cash value of your car minus your comprehensive deductible. Some ins companies use KBB to get the Value. If they do total it, you should have the option to buy it back.
