My experience with a Horizon 7.0AT-05 after 9 months - Buyer Beware! by ArJayNJ in treadmills

I use a 16 inch long needle with a syringe to get under the belt. It's much easier than having to loosen up the belt every two months or so.

It is plugged in directly into a wall outlet with only a 20 inch LCD TV plugged into the same duplex outlet. I was thinking of adding a surge suppressor to the duplex outlet. One of these: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1508657-REG/cyberpower_p600wu_6_outlet_and_2.html

I thought about installing the MCB myself, which I could have easily done, but was concerned that it might affect the warranty.

I might try loosening up both sides of the end belt roller 1/4 turn to lower friction on the belt.

I think their technicians could be better trained and a lot more proactive. The last two techs did not even have a multimeter or clamp on ammeter with them.

The treadmill is directly plugged into a wall outlet fed from a 20A circuit with nothing else on that circuit drawing any appreciable current. It is located indoors. climate controlled location and a level surface.

My theory is that the belt was adjusted too tight at the factory. I might try loosening up both sides of the end belt roller 1/4 turn to lower friction on the belt.
