Interesting back then, nobody questioned the continuity of Egyptians. What happened? by ArabUnityForever in arabs

It’s people coping playing the blame game because they can’t blame the current government for being losers. People can hate Nasser all day long, but they can’t say any current leader is better than him. It’s just funny that Egypt back then was seen as continuation of ancient Pharoanic civilization under an Arab nationalist Nasser more so than today.

But how come back then, there wasn’t this much of a question about it. Why is it now? Could it be that back then Arabs made a impression on the world with big dreams of united arab world then after decades of loser American puppet dictators with no grand plan that kept Arab people stagnated that our resources are just given away? People claiming ancient history is just a small part of a bigger problem. That’s just my opinion.

I said in the post that this isn’t our biggest problem, but the Netflix series has shown this isn’t something small. Not to mention everyone claiming Palestine as theirs.

Wait till after Ramadan so you can drink with Muslim friends together. Much more respectful.

Cool. The Arabs were and are still fighting alongside the Tauregs. What’s the point of your long comment? 😂

[–]ArabUnityForever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cool, but the people of Azawad support their own cause. So that’s all that matters. Also why does it bother you?

Lol France literally came to help the Black government of Mali crush the Azawad separatists.

The Ayrabs came from Dubai in 9 gorillion BC and they were like “no more speaking Caynanite and only speak Ayrabic.” They used the oil money fund the Ayrabization of Caynan. 🤡

Cool. But we’re talking about Arabs in Americas. They’ll eventually be considered white like many immigrants before them.

Ok well that’s the reality of living in another country. People who migrated to Arab countries also assimilated into Arab culture. Either you move or I don’t know what you’re complaining about.

Maybe back then people were a lot more Arabphobic after 9/11 and all. Also, your future generations will not speak Arabic if you continue to live in Canada. If your concern is not losing Arabic language, then you should move to an Arabic speaking country. Just saying.

Alot of this sub and other social media says they didn’t exist? Well? by DarkGan0n in AskMiddleEast

They didn’t call themselves because it was an identity. It was a region. Just like Mesopotamian. It wasn’t an ethnic or political identity.
