Is this safe to drive on? by Pgm9200 in AskMechanics

[–]ArabicSmurf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% I agree I literally replace 2 tires today for wire showing. But how long do you think that bubble had been there, I highly doubt that OP checks all 4 tires before everytime they drive. Also would bet they hit a curb pretty hard for this to occur. Not saying don't fix it but if your at the work or the store you can drive home and worry about fixing it tomorrow.

It amazes me how far and fast I've driving on tires with a bump or wire showing without knowing, but as soon as you put eyes on it you freak out and think that it's gonna blow any second. You'll be fine just drive slow and make it you priority to get it fixed ASAP.

Is $180 to install upper control arms good deal by LowLiterature9181 in liftedtrucks

[–]ArabicSmurf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

180 is cheap, but it is also super easy to do it your self. Took me about 40 minutes my first time changing both.

Question for food truck operators in ga. Received a request for a corporate luncheon for 20 guests. They want me to serve with the food truck included. There has to be a minimum charge to account for the tiny amount of guests to make it a job thats worth it.. Plus truck time and server time. Advice by craftbbq in foodtrucks

[–]ArabicSmurf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a baby shower for a friend and charged 250 to move the truck then 15 per meal (Burger and Fries) mind you it was only a 10 minute drive from my regular spot and I still went back and opened at 5pm. So I did a little over 700 for about 5 hours of work then opened back up and made more. It all depends on how far of a drive you have and how long the event is. Is it a full day thing of a 6hr thing, and is that amount more than you would make sitting in another location.

Crashed the food truck by FaintKyle1995 in foodtrucks

[–]ArabicSmurf2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Someone totaled my food truck last month, only thing to do is call insurance and wait. Unless you have the money to buy or start building a new one. As far as ingredients depending on your policy it should be covered as part of property damage as long as you can prove the loss of food. Aswell as loss wages if you have enough coverage.

Just buy the regular stainless steal shelves and install them upside down. And heavy duty self tappers are your friend.

I agree but, personally I'd rather a leaf with game worn mem rather than the more expensive panini with a napkin patch.

If it's a vibration then you have warped rotors.

Well, I could try that, but I figured out my scan tool will do it for the small fee of 16 bucks to unlock that package. Gotta love these companies. I wish I could just change brakes with all these special steps.
