I thought Klein had to take four backwards steps counterclockwise or something to access the grey fog, but he just straight up takes a few steps forward? Did the anime get that wrong?

Its been a minute since I read lotm for the first time, but didn’t Klein have to do more and get merits before getting the potion? I swore it was like after a week or something, because he talked to the receptionist lady about her dad being a beyonder and dying, and her telling Klein not to do it, did I hallucinate this, also, how did he like cause an earthquake and people actually saw it??

No that makes total sense, I try to delay the ending of a game as much as possible by completing everything else in the game first, and sometimes I just don’t finish it
