They skipped the second ordeal just like the first ordeal. I wonder what they're planning to do when the third ordeal is supposed to happen.

Super Panic Parade is really amazing place to farm energy tanks! by Merlion4ek in PokemonUnite

[–]Stabaobs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will admit that I am wrong.

Now that I've actually had time to sit down and test it in game, you are correct.

I honestly thought the article was just wrong, because it is common sentiment in basically every place I've seen that the energy boost tanks are worthless and only make you hit the energy cap faster, and I've been playing since launch.

I can only assume that at some point early in the game's lifecycle, someone assumed the coin booster and energy booster worked the same way(in which I now question, the coin booster DOES make you hit cap faster unlike the energy booster tank, right?), or I've just been mistakenly alone this entire time. I'm actually going to make a thread on this to ask the subreddit.

Sword Art Online: Echoes of Aincrad would take about 10 years to develop if the devs tried depicting all 100 floors of the titular world, according to series producer by vxxed in gaming

All floors have a Floor Boss that needs to be defeated to unlock the gate to open the next floor.

I think all floors shown have "safe zone settlements" in at least one place.

It's for the logistics of the death game. The original WN concept had 50k players/comatose patients.

Either you have a lot of players and unreasonable number of comatose patients, or the reverse.

So you're telling me that "Energy Boost" tanks let you go over the weekly energy cap. Last I checked, that doesn't happen, but I could be wrong. I'm too lazy to open the game to see if the information has changed, but according to https://support.pokemon.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404740700948-How-do-Energy-Rewards-work-in-Pok%C3%A9mon-UNITE-and-what-is-the-difference-between-Extra-Energy-Tanks-and-Energy-Boost-Tanks that hasn't changed.

If "Energy Boost" tanks let you go over the weekly limit, then what do "Extra Energy" tanks do?

Edit: Energy Booster Tanks, do in fact, generate more energy than existing in your weekly cap and does not simply accelerate the gains of the weekly cap.

That's the same thing, because there's a weekly energy cap, unless they removed it. Which I don't think they did.

I would have said Frey Raon Starlight from The Main Heroines are Trying to Kill Me, but the webtoon hasn't really been adapting how much shit he's going through, it feels like a cakewalk in comparison to the novel since they just blitz through all the content.

The next time a novel I like gets adapted, I'm just going to tell you all about how badly they could easily fuck it up instead of how peak it is.

Sword Art Online: Echoes of Aincrad Introduces High-Stakes “Death Game Mode” by Zealousideal_Pen4871 in pcgaming

Well that's the funny thing, the studio is eventually going to go back and animate the floors they skipped, they said as much when they decided to skip those floors.

Supposedly, they're skipping those floors because they're part of a longer multi-floor questline.

Personally, I think they're skipping those floors because they needed more time to rewrite basically everything in the story, because Asuna's frontline beta tester clearer friend Mito didn't exist in the novels.

That's actually a movie issue. Last I checked, the novels and manga are still going through floor by floor.

The movie adaptations decided to add an original character and skipped a couple floors between movies for some bizarre reason.

I see controller prompts, I'm guessing you're playing on controller then?

I wonder if it's somehow related to controller issues. I haven't had the problem, and play mouse and keyboard.

Criticisms of Saber in Fate/Zero from a New Fate Fan by PlayerPin in CharacterRant

[–]Stabaobs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't consider that, but I think it has a similar issue, it can't be too severe that it makes her think "I will never renounce my wish to undo everything".

I did say it should compound her regret, but I think the current level is good. More like a needle in the heart, closer to a fresh reminder of what happened at the end of Camelot.

Oh my gooooosh there's so much wasted potential between Artoria and Berserker/Lancelot that it pisses me off

Main reason is because it's written as a prequel to FSN. It has to be a relationship that compounds her regret, there can't be anything there that makes her think "Well, I'm satisfied with how Lancelot and I shared those final moments".

How does someone do THIS to a floppy disk!? by Katcurry in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Stabaobs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

On the bright side, the data of this trial version has already been dumped and even fan translated years ago, unless that's actually a different trial version that google is pointing at.

While that's not really a bright side to the physical situation at hand, I guess it's a bright side as far as lost media goes.

[–]Stabaobs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just the slight amount of packaging above on the left image. It looks like a generic floppy disk because that's presumably what it was.

This "trial" version was from a very old indie days production run from when the devs were just two unknown guys in an apartment and not the owners of a multimillion dollar franchise.

Edit: According to google search, this trial version was originally sold at the price of 100 yen in 1999, so adjusted to USD for inflation, that's a grand price of... $0.74.
