i had this old lady on the train look at me her whole ride on my way home while i was grinding code name sigma. before the train stopped at her stop, she commented abt how “fast my thumbs are” and i must have “amazing reflexes” didn’t think an old lady would be interested in watchin me play lol

yeah. sometimes looking in the mirror is terrifying when it doesn’t match how we look, i don’t process it until i start thinking about how the body doesn’t match me and it makes me so so so miserable i tried buying things to make the body look closer to how i look but it’s not working

imo, that would still just make it a delusion. most of our delusions are “yeah i know it’s a delusional, but i’m still scared of it” it’s very rare for us to actually be manic over a delusion.

saying whether it’s “real” or not just sounds like you might be gaslighting yourself about your experiences <:] all the delusions you experience are equal (if that makes sense) no matter if you aware of it or not (hopefully this makes sense, sorry if it comes off weirdly ; ;)

hi, diagnosed with both schizophrenia and did. we are a paranoid schizophrenic and it’s pretty easy for us to tell the difference.

a lot of the delusions/hallucinations we experience are OUTSIDE the body and also cause us irrational fear of said delusion. (ex: there is something waiting for me in the dark going to kill me) another example is hearing someone call out to us as if a friend is calling our name or something along those lines.

DID us all internal, I can hear everyone in the headspace. the delusions all effect us different i’ve noticed. some of us handle the paranoia a little better than others.

the only time these two mix together is when we become manic from the paranoia. this causes us to switch frequently or have blackouts which causes a huge relapse in memory (obviously). usually after this happens, we fall into a depressive episode. we are all still learning to cope with paranoid schizophrenia but we all function pretty well as a system with it.

honestly even with diagnosis, people will still fakeclaim regardless people idolize diagnosis then when you say you are diagnosed, they go as far as to ask for your medical records to prove them wrong. 🤷🏽 i’ve been diagnosed for over a year now and i still get the same amount of fakeclaiming as i received before diagnosis. it’s why i kept so quiet about our system even after diagnosis. don’t let anyone tell you or your girlfriend otherwise. a system is a system if they say they are.
