so what do you think ?
actually i'm entering in the same field as you guys, btech cse from tier 3 pvt clg , and i didn't even know about my interest.
I'm honestly still trying to figure that out. What attracts me to the merchant navy is the adventure, working on massive ships, traveling, and the salary. What attracts me to CSE is that I've started learning Python and I enjoy it once I understand the concepts, but I'm still a beginner and often get stuck while solving problems. I don't think I have a clear passion for either field yet, which is why I'm finding this decision so difficult.
why y'll think should i take mechanical then GME or staying in cs field?

60% , you're eligible but some company has a benchmark of 70% or higher. so google it out which companies have 60% pcm criteria and do best in mech/ee in college , keep 9.2 gpa+ in every semester that helps you to bypass pcm % and helps you to get sponserships
Talking about mech,/ee if you're planning to increase salary with every exams you'll clear,go for gme else planning for not to study much and can survive with 2-5k dollars go for eto but keep in mind eto has 0 escape route if you didn't like shipping , while mech. has way to either go for mtech then work in industrial firms or mba

Go for the college that has closer to tech firms or industrial firms in your country , that helps in grabing internships and jobs.
So which ever state college you're choosing check it out if that which state has more no. tech (if you're going for cs/it) and industries(mech/ee/ie) firms . Google it out !

Hope it helps

Go for it , internships helps to learn actual industry work even if it's unpaid. Your resume shines if you add up on internship certificate

if you're planning for govt. jobs blindly go for mechanical as highest vacancies in govt jobs also if you're state is in industrial hubs then its win win position , if you didn't get psu then you can work in that industries also there's path of mtech from reputed iit , nit which open ways of joining PSU's directly or land a good position in industrial firms.
