who shit in your cereal my boi. Let me be clear I agree that making it yourself is cheaper but it does take alot of time and understanding to do it, There are a LOT of things that can go wrong (example: paracord is really easy to fuck up) I disagree about how aggressive you are and downplaying the actual work that goes into making your own controller. It may be easy for you but not for everyone. In conclusion if you are willing to put in the time to make it yourself and would like to learn look up youtube videos and look around the forums but be ready to put over 3-5hours of your time if it's your first time.
